The Policy/Impact Evaluation of EUSDR instruments, tools and activities for measuring the impact in the Danube Region is finalised and accessible. The assessment answers nine evaluation questions structured along four themes: implementation, impact, communication and effects of COVID-19.


The Mediterranean Coast and Macro-Regional Strategies Week will take place in Izola, Slovenia from 19 to 23 September this year. The aim is to raise awareness about the natural and economic potential of the sea and its hinterland, as well as the risks it may be exposed to.

This is an open call for projects for 1 March 2022 to 30 June 2022 (17:00 GMT). The national funding bodies from Austria, Albania, Croatia, France, Germany, Hungary, Montenegro, Poland and Slovakia have allocated funding for organisations collaborating on international R&D projects.


The NAMIRS project was officially launched at the headquarters of the Central European Initiative (CEI) - Executive Secretariat in Trieste, in the presence of many project partners, supporters and media.


"With support of the EU funded project "EU support for the implementation of the EU Strategy for the Adriatic-Ionian region in the Republic of North Macedonia", we are seeking to engage 2 (two) full-time thematic experts to support North Macedonia's administration in the EUSAIR implementation, notably the formally appointed Pillar Coordinators of Pillar 2. Thereby, one thematic expert will support the Transport Sub-pillar Coordinator within the Ministry of Transport and Communications and one thematic expert will support the Energy networks Sub-pillar Coordinator within the Ministry of Economy."



The Secretariat of the Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe programme gave notice of the release of the Activity Report 2021 – Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe Programme.


On 8 March 2022, hundreds of young people competed with their business models for a place in the finals of the national competition in entrepreneurial ideas POPRI, organized by the Primorska Technology Park. At the regional pre-elections organised in Slovenia, experienced entrepreneurs in the regional commissions decided which teams presented their ideas most convincingly. A maximum of 12 best teams from each region and individual category can qualify for the national finals in Nova Gorica.
