Launch of the ASAP – ADRIATIC SENSITIVE AREAS PROTECTION MECHANISM Project: Advancing the Protection of the Adriatic Sea

The "Adriatic Sensitive Areas Protection Mechanism (ASAP)" project, launched in September 2024, aims to strengthen the protection of the Adriatic Sea from accidental pollution by enhancing regional cooperation among six Adriatic countries. It builds on the previous NAMIRS initiative, focusing on coordinated responses to maritime pollution risks through joint exercises and long-term collaboration.
