On January 29, 2025, the Bosnian and Herzegovinian EUSDR Presidency organized an online “Chat with the Presidency” session, offering a platform for open dialogue among key EUSDR stakeholders and the Presidency.
Led by the Bosnian and Herzegovinian EUSDR Presidency, the discussion centered on the current agenda and ongoing conversations around EUSDR governance.
During the session, Priority Area Coordinators (PACs) expressed gratitude for the Presidency’s willingness to engage and collaborate with them on organizing joint events throughout the year, including the 14th EUSDR Annual Forum, scheduled for November 5-6, 2025, in Sarajevo. The Presidency also provided updates on upcoming events and the progress of its agenda, which can be accessed here.
Another important subject addressed was the upcoming review and clarification of the roles and responsibilities of the PACs (Priority Area Coordinators), which will lead to an update of the EUSDR Governance Architecture Paper. This issue will be further explored at the PACs meeting on February 26-27, 2025, following a preparatory discussion at the EUSDR Task Force Governance Development meeting set for February 19, 2025. The PACs also discussed the possibility of holding an informal meeting before these events to ensure alignment on key ideas.
Additionally, the 10th Danube Salon is scheduled for March 6, 2025, in Berlin, Germany. The event is organized by the federal state of Baden-Württemberg in close cooperation with Bosnia and Herzegovina. More details are available here.
