The objective of the topic is to bolster the green and digital transition of the European Union, which should contribute (thus eventually lead) to the formation of a climate neutral EU population.

Danube Business Talks 2021

The main issues to be discussed at the Danube Business Talks 2021 conference concern the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the sectors of tourism and transport. As a consequence of the restrictions and the spread of the pandemic, both sectors have been struggling, but now the measures are finally showing positive effects on the continent.

EUSDR Thematic Event on Climate Change & Water Management

EUSDR SK Presidency is organising a conference titled "EUSDR Thematic Event on Climate Change & Water Management" in cooperation with the Priority Area 4 Coordination team on 27th September 2021. The main discussion topics include the water quality of the Danube region, water retention measures, the recently developed Slovakian Water Policy as well as climate change adaption practices.

Border regions in Europe and the European Green Deal

The European Green Deal is a new growth strategy that aims to transform the European Union into a fair and prosperous society, with a modern, resource-efficient and competitive economy where there are no net emissions of greenhouse gases in 2050 and where economic growth is decoupled from resource use. This very ambitious strategy cannot be fully efficient without involving Europe's regions and cities.

Unveiling Serbia's Smart Specialisation Strategy and exploring the role of incubators, accelerators and S&T Parks in delivering sector specific support in the Western Balkans and South East Europe

During the two-days conference the participants will have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the Serbian Smart Specialisation Strategy and to explore the sectoral specific support of incubators, accelerators and Science and Technology Parks.

The first day is dedicated to discovering the opportunities for regional collaboration within smart specialisation priority domains and the second day will be about supporting service specialisation: the role of incubators, accelerators, and S&T Parks in delivering sector specific support.
