Border regions in Europe and the European Green Deal

The European Green Deal cannot be efficient without involving Europe's regions and cities. The European Committee of the Regions believe that it is important to involve border regions from the very start, as 40% of EU citizens live there. At this event, already existing good practices that European border regions, Euroregions and EGTCs are implementing on their territories will be discussed, as well as showcased to the European institutions, Member States and other actors, that the border regions are not peripheries, but laboratories of Europe where new and innovative actions are tested for the benefit of the Union and its citizens.
