The LIFE – sub-programme “Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation” aims at bolstering the adaptation policies and strategies of national, regional and local authorities and thereby contibuting to the implementation of the EU's climate policy.

10 Years of EUSDR Implementation – Happy Anniversary!

 

In 2021, the EU Strategy for the Danube Region (EUSDR) celebrates its 10th anniversary: 10 years of transnational cooperation in the fields of mobility and transport, energy, tourism and culture, protection of water, nature and biodiversity, education and labour market, competitiveness, strengthening of institutional cooperation and security.

Danube Ministers of Transport sign again Conclusions on Effective Waterway Rehabilitation and Maintenance anticipating COVID-19 Challenges

As the pandemic strikes, cargo transport volumes could be reduced across the Danube Region. In their conclusions, Danube Ministers of Transport have acknowledged the need for further cooperation across the waterway.

Publication: Enhancing Healthcare cooperation in cross-border regions

Award for best EU-funded projects - call open

The call for the yearly European Commission award for the best and most innovative EU-funded projects in regional development is now open until the 9th of May. The REGIOSTARS are awarded to projects in five thematic categories (smart, sustainable and inclusive growth, urban development and a topic of the year).

Interact’s Online Training Platform for territorial cooperation issues

Interact has launched a new online training platform in order to enhance its knowledge delivery and your learning experiences within the Interreg community, by enabling you to learn and engage in the virtual environment. All courses are tailor made for the learning needs of the Interreg community and those who are closely linked to it, even though they might not be directly involved. Interact brings together expertise from all over Europe and from different types of stakeholders. Course authors and other course contributors share their experience and expertise through videos, articles, quizzes and discussions.

Project Linking Danube

A new brochure on the first major output of the LinkingDanube project gives an overview on how linking services can be implemented in a multi-stakeholder environment. The brochure explains the technical and organisational concept for establishing a transnational, multimodal travel information service across borders. It points out the significance with regard to EU policy and legislation while setting out the benefits for both the service providers and the users.

EUSAIR Facility Point has presented it’s Communication Manual

The idea of creating such a manual arised at a Conference held in September. Since the EUSAIR Strategy is higly compley, the promotion of the Streategys aims, added value and achivements is hard. The Communication manual helps improving our understanding toward the Strategy, and defining our role and responsibility through the process of macro-regional communication.
