EU Strategy for the Adriatic-Ionian Region (EUSAIR) is holding its 4th Annual Forum between the 7-8th of May 2019 at Budva, Montenegro. Further information will be published here soon. 

The 4th industrial revolution and digitalisation opens new perspectives and provides various challenges for small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) in internationalisation. The joint event of the UpGradeSME project and the Priority Area 8 of the EU Strategy of the Danube Region (EUSDR) aims at tackling classical and recent challenges and possibilities of internationalization processes.

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry – Vratsa organizes the final dissemination event of the INTERREG Danube Transnational Programme with the title: “Danube: Innovation in flow”. The event will provide an excellent opportunity to meet at one place eco- innovators from Bulgaria and abroad interested in eco-innovation topic and circular economy as well as experience and become part of the Virtual lab (a web based platform for matchmaking eco-innovators from the Danube region).

The MOT will hold its general assembly and annual conference on 20-21 March in Annemasse and Geneva, at the invitation of Annemasse Agglo and the Metropolitan Pole of the French Genevois, members of the MOT’s network.

The Central European Service for Cross-border Initiatives, founded in 2009, celebrates its 10 years of operation next year. The event will be celebrated on April 25-26, 2019 with a two-day conference. Details are published here.

The Hungarian-Romanian Gate to Europe EGTC is organizing a conference titled "The economic and social effects of climate change within the territory of the EGTC" in Nyíradony. The EGTC is working on an overall strategy with concrete measures in order to tackle the negative impacts of climate change. Between the 15th and 17th of November Viadrina Center organises an international conference to offer space for exchanging the current conceptual and theoretical approaches and their application in empirical research. Especially on topics such as un/making borders and boundaries, borderless labour, migrating borders and the institutionalization of crossings.

In 2018 Bulgaria is the rotating Presidency of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region (the Danube Strategy, EUSDR). As a key event of the 2018 EUSDR Presidency, Bulgaria and the European Commission are jointly organizing the 7th Annual Forum which will be held on 18 - 19 October 2018 in Sofia. The main focus of the event will be on tourism development as a precondition to economic growth and territorial cohesion.
