Registration is now open for the 14th Annual Forum of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region (EUSDR), scheduled to take place on 5–6 November 2025 in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
This year’s Forum is hosted by the Bosnian and Herzegovinian EUSDR Presidency, coordinated by the Directorate for European Integration of the Council of Ministers and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in close partnership with the European Commission and the Danube Strategy Point.
A Hub for Dialogue and Partnership
The Annual Forum will gather senior representatives from the European Union, national administrations, regional and local authorities, civil society organisations, and other stakeholders from across the Danube Region and beyond.
As the main annual event of the EUSDR, the Forum serves as a dynamic platform to:
- Take stock of the progress achieved under the Strategy
- Discuss shared challenges and opportunities
- Set priorities for the coming years
- Reinforce cooperation between Danube Region partners
Among the key discussion points will be:
- EU enlargement and support for countries in the accession process
- Addressing brain drain, skills shortages, and youth unemployment
- Education, training, and demographic change
- The green and digital transitions
Danube Participation Day
Preceding the Forum, the 12th Danube Participation Day will take place on 4 November 2025. Organised by EUSDR Priority Area 10 and the Danube Civil Society Forum, this event will bring together civil society actors and local stakeholders to exchange views on their role in shaping EU policies and fostering community participation.
