Are you managing an EU-funded initiative that has had a meaningful impact in your region?
Each year, the REGIOSTARS Awards, organised by DG REGIO, recognise exceptional EU-supported projects that contribute significantly to regional growth and development.
The search for the top REGIOSTARS projects of 2026 across Europe has officially begun!
This is your opportunity to present your achievements, receive well-deserved recognition, and encourage others across Europe to follow your example.
Is your project eligible?
Has it created measurable positive change at the local level?
Did it introduce innovative ideas or new methods?
Has it strengthened your region economically, socially, or environmentally?
Do the benefits continue beyond the project’s completion?
Can the project be expanded or replicated elsewhere in Europe?
If your answer is “yes,” be sure to apply for the REGIOSTARS competition by 22 May 2026 through the EU Survey REGIOSTARS application form.
As in previous years, projects will compete in five categories aligned with the objectives of cohesion policy:
Category 1: A Competitive and Smart Europe
Category 2: A Green Europe
Category 3: A Connected Europe
Category 4: A Social and Inclusive Europe
Category 5: A Europe Closer to the Citizens
