The Hellenic Presidency of EUSAIR, in collaboration with the Greek Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Executive Unit for PA - Greek Ministry of Tourism, warmly invites you to attend a workshop on Maritime and Coastal Tourism. The event will take place on April 11th, 2025, in Kalamata, Greece.
This conference aims to serve as a platform for exchanging knowledge, engaging in policy discussions, and fostering cooperation, all while paving the way for a more sustainable and thriving future for maritime and coastal tourism.The workshop will bring together key industry players, including stakeholders from yachting, cruising, diving, fishing tourism, and culture, along with academics and researchers.
Discussions will cover the current state of maritime and coastal tourism, examining the legal framework, ongoing initiatives, and best practices from participating countries. The event will also explore the development of cruise tourism, yachting, diving, and other maritime tourism sectors. Key challenges and future opportunities will also be addressed, including the monitoring of tourist flows, the assessment of the impact of maritime and coastal tourism on the environment, local economies, and communities, as well as the creation of joint initiatives for sustainable growth.
Additionally, the 25th TSG4 meeting will be held at the same venue on April 10th, 2025, one day prior to the workshop.
