In the framework of the project CB PUMP (Cross-Border Public Urban Mobility Plan) and financed by the European initiative B-Solutions, an analysis on the cross-border public transport in Gorizia, (Italia), Nova Gorica and Šempeter- Vrtojba (Slovenia) was prepared.
The paper analyses the mobility between the three cities including the operative regulatory about the international transport. The study also proposes the launch of new cross-border bus lines as a response to the needs of the local population.
Now the results are being sent to the competent authorities in order to prepare an agreement for the three municipalities.
