2021–27: What’s new?

Compared to the 2014-2020 period, the new Interreg Regulation has become more comprehensive, and it includes many aspects previously covered in other regulations or delegated acts. In the negotiations, the initial set of draft regulations proposed by the Commission has undergone substantial changes.

The focus of the event will be on the new implementation provisions for the future generation of programmes.

Webinar on cross-border public services

The ESPON targeted analysis on Cross-border Public Services (CPS) aimed to improve delivery practices of CPS in European border regions and to increase awareness about the added value of CPS provision. This webinar will provide insights into the study’s findings with a focus on Hungarian and neighbouring border regions. Experiences from other central European border areas will also be illustrated to highlight the variety of feasible CPS. Insights will be given from different angles that may be of interest for local and regional public authorities, providers of public services, EU programme authorities etc. Findings of the study will be complemented by various insights from CESCI, highlighting the specifics for Hungarian and neighbouring stakeholders.
