VOLUNTEER IN CROATIA - 6 MONTHS IN 2023 ALL PAID

ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION

This project is focused on non-formal education in the context of environmental and cultural education with a combination of different activities. It is a project in which, the volunteers are included in various activities and events: music festival, art exhibitions, building and implementing summer camp for youth, help organizing youth activities and sustainable workshops, help with local social enterprises, etc. Apart from that, volunteers will be helping with taking photos and videos, and helping with the social media.

ACCOMMODATION, FOOD AND TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS

Alfa Albona will provide an appropriate accommodation in town, in a shared flat with other volunteers but when implementing the summer camp, volunteers will be placed in the summer camp in their own tent while the other facilities will be shared.

TRAINING DURING THE ACTIVITY

During the project, all the volunteers will have paid visa costs, flat and utilities, and they will be provided with a Croatian language course, but also other education: such as, non-formal education, life and social skills and other education / workshops that will be implemented during the various projects and activities of the organization. There is a possiblity to have more education, depending on the organization projects at that time.

PARTICIPANT PROFILE

Volunteers should be:

  • aged 18 – 30;
  • with sense of responsibility;
  • have good knowledge of English language;
  • be ready to accept challenges;
  • autonomus but also willing to work in the group;
  • willing to share the space of living with other volunteers;
  • able to organize his/her own free time;
  • have open heart and open mind;
  • ready to learn new things;
  • ready to be involved in different activities.
