International Danube Conference on Culture

Due to the pandemic situation in autumn 2021, the European Danube Academy and its partners were forced to postpone the conference to spring 2022. The international Conference on Culture will take place from 8 to 10 May 2022 in Ulm.

The conference was first organised in Ulm in 2013, and returns now after Novi Sad, Timişoara, Ruse, Pécs, Linz, Regensburg and the Schallaburg to Ulm. The main aim of the event is to present the Danube region as a diverse cultural area and to offer an exchange programme that will create new collaborations between artists, cultural institutions and decision-makers.

The workshop will focus on three key areas:

  1. “Cities of culture in the Danube region”
  2. “Financing instruments for cultural projects in the Danube region”
  3. “New European Bauhaus on the Danube”

The participation at the event is free of charge, but registration is compulsory.
