AI-NURECC PLUS Fair and Conference

AI-NURECC PLUS Fair and Conference

Sustainable Tourism in the Adriatic-Ionian Region

16 September 2022 – Ancona (Marche Region, Italy)

These events are organised by the Forum of the Adriatic and Ionian Cities (FAIC), an international non-profit association, based in Ancona, open to the municipalities of the Adriatic-Ionian region.

FAIC is partner of the AI-NURECC PLUS Project, coordinated by the CPMR, a preparatory action and spin-off of the AI-NURECC Initiative, that aims at capitalising on the results of the latter and enhancing Regional and Local Authorities’ appropriation of the EUSAIR main objectives and opportunities, by promoting an efficient participatory and bottom-up approach. AI-NURECC PLUS operates in the following fields: Sustainable Tourism, Cultural and Creative Industries, and Circular Economy, and it is expected to support entrepreneurship, transnational clusters, and digital innovation hubs activities in the EUSAIR area.

Uniadrion will organise the Summer School on Sustainable Tourism, a Fair and a Conference. The Summer School will take place from 5 to 16 September 2022. The Fair and Conference will close the Summer School.

During the Fair, associations, young companies and start-ups from 10 EUSAIR Countries will have the opportunity during a full-day to present their initiatives and projects to reduce the negative impact of tourism and enhance the positive impact in rural areas and off-the-beaten track, by offering environmentally conscious holiday solutions. The Fair will be open to the community: the Faculty of Economics is located in the heart of the city center.

The Final Conference, will close the Fair and the Summer School.
